Natalie recommended the Life Application Bible because the footnotes; explain the verses, refer to other relevant Bible verses, and apply the verses to life today. Christian books such as: The Case for Christ, Mere Christianity, Basic Christianity and More Than a Carpenter are great to give to those who do not know Christ.3. Repeat a verse. In this chat, when her father was being taken from the ambulance to the hospital, God prompted Nancy to repeat the verse, “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.” Mark 16:164.
