2 Corinthians 3 - Do You Want to Experience God’s Goodness and Beauty?
Monday, October 13, 2025
Paul highlights the difference between the old covenant and the new covenant. He explains that the old covenant, which was based on the law of Moses, brought condemnation because people could not fully obey it. However, the new covenant, established by Jesus, brings righteousness and life through the Spirit. Paul emphasizes that the new covenant is more glorious than the old one. He uses an analogy of Moses wearing a veil to cover his face when he came down from Mount Sinai after encountering God. The veil symbolized the hidden nature of God's glory under the old covenant. But now, in the new covenant, through faith in Christ, the veil is removed, and believers can directly experience God's glory (His goodness and beauty) and transformation in their lives. Paul explains that as we gaze upon God's glory without a veil, we are changed to reflect His image more and more. It is the work of the Holy Spirit within us that brings about this transformation, making us more like Christ and giving us a close relationship with God. #newtestament #corinthians #outreach #bless #mission #jesus #faith #spirituality #christianity #evangelism #discipleship #diversity #earlychurchwww.ericbryant.orgwww.innovativechurchleaders.org
